From the menu bar you can go to "Device" -> "Advanced Settings" -> "Administration" to set the write protection.

The measuring amplifier can be protected against configuration.

The GSV-8 has an error memory and an operating hours counter.

In addition to the USB interface, the GSV-8 has a UART / RS232 port. This can be used to connect Raspberry PI or WLAN or LAN or LTE modules.

The UART / RS232 port is disabled by default to achieve maximum data rate.

For measurement channels that are configured for temperature or voltage measurement, zeroing by default is not allowed.
