Configuration of GSV-6L and GSV-6K
The GSV-6L and GSV-6K measuring amplifiers are configurable with regard to the output type (current output or voltage output), filter characteristics, and other properties. Configuration is performed either at the factory upon ordering or at any time via the "Tare" and "Scale" lines. In configuration mode, the "Tare" line has the "Up" function (go to the next menu item). In configuration mode, the "Scale" line has the "ENTER" function (confirm the current display).
By default, the menu display is set to a voltage output of ±10V. The GSV-6 can be configured to display a current output of 0-20 mA if the analog output type is set to 4-20 mA or 0-20 mA.1 In this case, the following conversion applies to the voltage display mentioned here: Voltage reading [V] = Output current [mA] -10 Output current [mA] = Voltage reading [V] +10 Once in configuration mode, an output voltage of -1.1 volts (or 8.9 mA) is displayed. The voltage of -1.1 volts corresponds to a selection for "Set input sensitivity". Pressing "UP" changes the voltage to -2.2V (or 7.8 mA). This corresponds to a selection for "Set frequency". The table shows the "main menu" with voltages from -1.1 to -9.9 volts.
