The force plates consist of two to four 3D force sensors, which are assembled into a platform with a top plate and a base plate. The measuring ranges of the 3D force sensors and the distances between them determine the measuring ranges for forces and moments in the three spatial dimensions.
The 3D force sensors of the K3D60a, K3D120, and K3D160 series form the basis for particularly low-profile force plates.
For higher forces (from 50 kN), the sensors of the K3A100, K3A125, K3A155, and K3A225 series are suitable.
By using 1D force sensors, e.g., from the KD39, KD60, KD68, and KD140 series, 3D platforms are created for measuring vertical force and determining the center of pressure (COP).
The force measurement platforms are individually dimensioned and manufactured for your application.
Key criteria, in addition to dimensions and the measuring ranges for forces and moments, include stiffness, weight, and natural frequency.
