Configuration of the GSV-2

Configuration

The configuration settings can be accessed via:

Device --> Advanced

Filter

The filter for the analog output is automatically adjusted depending on the selected data frequency (in the main menu, "Data Frequency").

Threshold value transmitter

The GSv-2 has two threshold value transmitters. These can be configured as threshold value transmitters with freely adjustable hysteresis or as window comparators.

Maximum value mode

The GSV-2 has:

  • an actual value display (Transmit actual values)
  • a maximum value mode (Transmit Maximum Values)
  • a maximum or minimum value display (Transmit min- /max value)

Interface

For devices with CANbus/CANopen protocol, the device addresses and the bit rate can be configured.

Administration

When the device is powered on, information about the current configuration can be displayed. Names are assigned to the parameter memories user1...user6 for this purpose. On devices with a display, these names are then displayed as a startup message for a few seconds after power-on.
