Measuring the cable force
The University of Applied Forest Sciences Rottenburg operates the force sensor KM30z at a measuring cable car for setting and checking of the cable tension of the supporting cable, on which a laser measurement system runs to measure incurred lanes on skid trail.
The force sensor is connected to the carrying cable and a tensioning device with screwed rings and carabiners.
