Production at ME
Sensors with strain gages consist of a spring body that is equipped with strain gauges. Protective covers or housings are required to protect the strain gauges.
The quality of the sensor is determined by
- the construction of the spring body,
- the construction of the mechanical load introduction,
- the material of the spring body
- the coating and surface treatment of the spring body
- the dimensional accuracy of the spring body and the accessories,
- the quality of the process steps in the bonding and wiring of strain gauges.
We monitor these characteristics through a strict quality inspection in the incoming goods, through audits at suppliers, by measuring sensor properties such as temperature response, zero-return error after thermal and mechanical stress, linearity, creep error ...
Minimal deviations in the process parameters, such as temperature, temperature gradient, surface roughness, purity, soldering temperature, thickness of the adhesive layer, etc. can affect the function of the sensor.
The use of state-of-the-art production equipment and measuring technology ensures the safety of the processes.
All production steps are monitored. Sensor properties are logged in databases.
The table gives an overview of the processes used.
