Description

The 6 axis sensor K6D40 is suitable for the measurement of torque and force in three perpendicular axiss.
In the standard version it is appropriate for an axial force Fz (along its cylinder axle) by ±2000 N, as well as for ±500 N in the axles Fx and Fy
The torques MX, My and Mz are dimensioned for ±20 Nm.

The measuring range for the forces and moments can be adapted within a wide range.

The small weight of the multi-axle sensor of only 150 g is perfect for applications in the robotics, like e.g.

  1. collision detection
  2. "Teach-In"
  3. Presence and/or error recognition
  4. Strength and/or torque-steered operation
  5. Load measurement in the medical technology/ Prothetik/ orthopedics technology/ course analysis
  6. Measurements in the sport medicine
  7. Comfort measurements/ergonomics measurements
  8. etc.

The evaluation of the force and torque takes place e.g. with a measuring amplifier GSV-1A8
The computation of the 6 load sizes is possible e.g. over Windows DLL or over Labview with the help of a made available digital calibration document. The calibration document contains the individual calibration factors and error corrections of the sensor.

Applications

The software permits a shifting of the origin. The moments are then computed relative to a user-defined origin. Particularly flat multi-axles sensor is realized by the assembly of a force application handle.
